At Prashaant Steel & Alloys Building, we are a well-equipped manufacturing facility with state-of-the-art technologies that enable us to produce industry-appreciated Socket Head Cap Screws. At Prashaant Steel & Alloys, we believe in consumer service and so we aim to fulfill our customers’ price and quantity demands and aspirations. Our massive inventory helps deliver bulk orders to our customers in no time. We market our products to various countries around the world and store our Socket Head Cap Screws in appropriate wooden boxes to avoid any damage to our product while shipping. We also include all the documents you require with our packaging. Some of the documents that we provide with our Socket Head Cap Screws are raw Materials Certificate, 100% Radiography Test Report, Third Party Inspection Report, etc.
Stainless Steel Hex Head Screws are made in different types, material grades and sizes. The commonality is that the screws have a hexagonal shaped head. This shape helps installation with hex tools. The geometric strength of the head shape allows for these screws to be fitted with high torque values. The Slotted Hex Head Screw has slots in the head through which the tools used to tighten can get a good grip of. The material grades vary as 18-8 steels, A2-70, A2-80, A4-80 and 316 stainless steels. Some are high tensile screws while others are not.
The most used are perhaps the 316 SS Hex Head Cap Screws for the corrosion resistance, strength and the temperature resistance. The 316 screws can handle temperatures up to 870 degrees Celsius. The screws can also withstand chloride ion rich environments such as sea water, marine and beachside outdoor applications. The SS Hex Head Screws can come in cold formed, hot forged or bar stock machined conditions. Depending on the application requirements and the standard specifications, the screw thread type can vary as coarse or fine threaded. The SS hex head wood screws are used with wooden applications. The softer surfaces sometimes do not need to have a pilot hole for the screw to go through. Some of these screws are made self-tapping so that they drill their own pilot hole while installed.
