Our UNS S32750 Valves are Titanium Grade 2 valves are high-performance titanium alloy valves that retain high pressure in elevated temperatures and bear good strength and toughness in soaring temperatures. These grades are cold rolled to varied tempers and are only hardened through the cold work process. The valves exhibit superior resistance to general, pitting and crevice corrosion. Furthermore, these are completely resistant to various corrosive attacks in natural and sea water environments. The formation of tight adherent oxide film possesses superior corrosion resistance properties.

Titanium Grade 2 is suitable for both hot and cold forming methods. It is idealized for the heat treatment process for higher fatigue strength. This grade is induced in both hot and cold working processes. The hot working temperature should not exceed up to 920 deg c. For machining these are processed from the electron beam machining process. The machines required are associated with this grade, thus it requires sharp tooling, low cutting speeds, high feed rates, sufficient lubrication, and rigid set up of machines. This grade is readily formable and weldable with standard welding operations. This grade will not react with any sort of chemicals such as nitric acids, sulfuric acids, phosphoric acids and more.
Its microstructure has alpha grain due to the rapid cooling while machining. The manufacturing chamber kept in the elevated temperatures in the overall production process. In the aged condition, the machining process is recommended.
Titanium Grade 2 Instrumentation Ball Valves, which are ductile and tough enough, and can be machined and fabricated with good grace.
