Double end studs are used for flange bolting with a nut at both ends. We offer double ended studs in a variety of materials including stainless steel and exotic alloy materials. Double end studs used by many of these manufacturers have equal length threads on each end to accommodate a nut and are threaded to a class 2A fit. Double end studs are used for flange bolting or other applications where torching from both ends is necessary or desirable.
Double end threaded rods and double end threaded studs are fasteners that are threaded at each end with a threaded portion at the center. Also called connecting rods or double ended studs they are typically used to join together female threaded components that don’t require a full thread or items that have different thread sizes.
